Fredericton showchoir summer workshop
What?
The FSC is a mixed vocal ensemble specializing in jazz, pop and contemporary repertoire. Instruction will be provided on vocal technique, music theory, Sight-reading, mic technique, movement, and performance with a live band
When?
This five full-day program will run from August 23-27, 9:00 am to 4:30pm ending in a live performance with a band Friday afternoon!
Who?
The 'Fredericton Show Choir' under the direction of Alex Good and Anne Marie Murphy is looking for committed, high energy singers aged 13 to 17.
(no experience required but dedication is mandatory)
Where?
Christ Church Cathedral Hall, 168 Church Street.

2010-2011 program:

Alex Good and Anne Marie Murphy are proud to announce that the Fredericton showchoir is auditioning for it's exciting Debut year. We are looking for energetic and committed students aged 13 to 17. With instruction on music theory, sight-reading, harmony, movement, Mic skills and performing with a band, FSC will perform choral arrangements of jazz standards and popular songs as well as classical choral repertoire
When?
rehearsals Sundays 6:30 to 8:30pm
September – June

Fredericton showchoir is a high calibre tuition based vocal/choral program. To maintain a high performance standard students are required to sign a letter of commitment to this full-year program.
